Project Overview

A major global strategy consulting firm is seeking experienced independent consultants to support a high-impact vendor due diligence (VDD) engagement in the rail and transport sector. This 3-week project will involve deep commercial analysis and strategic insight to support a client transaction. The firm is looking for Consultant and Associate Consultant level talent to join their team, working alongside senior leaders to deliver a robust, data-driven assessment. Ideal talent will bring a blend of strategy consulting pedigree, transport/rail sector knowledge, and strong analytical capabilities, with a proven track record in commercial/vendor due diligence projects.

  • Gather, synthesise, and analyse market, competitor, and operational data to support strategic conclusions.
  • Develop and quality-control financial and operational models to ensure accuracy and insight.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling deliverables for client presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal consulting teams and client stakeholders to test hypotheses and refine recommendations.
  • For Consultant-level talent: Lead workstream planning, coach/mentor Associate Consultants, and present findings to senior client stakeholders.
