Our client is the consulting arm of a Big 4 accounting firm. They are entering a RFP with a leading energy company in Thailand is for the setup of a Digital and AI Centre of Excellence (CoE). The objective is to establish a centralised capability that enables agile delivery of digital and AI use cases across the business. The client seeks a hands-on practitioner who has previously set up similar CoEs or digital factories and can take ownership of implementation, team structuring, and agile delivery processes inside a large enterprise environment.

This role is looking for someone who has done the work inside a company, rather than provided external consulting support.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the setup and operationalisation of a Digital CoE / AI CoE / Digital Factory
• Define structure, governance, delivery processes, and tooling for CoE operations
• Lead the implementation of agile ways of working, including onboarding and management of scrum masters and agile teams
• Evaluate and prioritise digital use cases in alignment with business objectives
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to build, test, and scale CoE processes
• Support the client in finalising the RFP, including shaping delivery timelines, SOW refinement, and vendor alignment

Ideal Profile

• 10–15 years of experience in digital transformation or enterprise technology leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience in building and operationalising Digital/AI CoEs or digital factories within large corporates
• Strong practical expertise in agile delivery models, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team structuring
• Has worked inside an enterprise (not consulting) to stand up agile teams, drive delivery, and implement scalable frameworks
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders while being hands-on with execution
• Based in or willing to be based in Thailand for the full duration, with consistent on-the-ground presence
• Available to start from mid-August 2025
• Bonus: Experience contributing to RFP finalisation and scoping complex digital programmes
