Our client is looking for an experienced and analytically strong professional to join their team on a contract basis as a Product Expert. This role is initially for a period of 6 months, with the potential for a 6-month renewal, and plays a critical role in shaping and embedding business-as-usual (BAU) processes for a newly implemented policy administration system (PAS).
The ideal candidate will have 6 to 7 years of relevant experience, and hold qualifications as a Qualified Actuary, Chartered Accountant, senior actuarial student, or come from a similarly strong numeric and analytical background. Experience in product management, performance tracking, or a similar function will be highly beneficial, especially where it relates to setting up operational processes in a complex and evolving environment.

Key responsibilities:
- An understanding of the new range of products (training to be arranged)
- An understanding of the functionality of the new PAS
- An understanding of the existing platform, business as usual (BAU) processes. Process documents are available, and training to be arranged with existing resources. These processes will need to be created/developed for the new PAS.
- Planning and establishing all the BAU processed for the new PAS
- Documenting all the S&I BAU processes for the team and training of resources
- Managing a team and directing the team to setup and perform the processes on an ongoing basis.
- Assessing processes and integrating the S&I BAU work into the existing BAU processes so that we can assess where we can achieve economies of scale.
