Project Overview
Our client, a consultancy firm is supporting a large regional bank who is seeking a strong Designer based in Singapore with experience in large Design Systems. This role is part of a revamp of a corporate banking platform and will involve setting up, managing, maintaining, and governing a design system.
The position is a hybrid role, requiring 3-days onsite in Singapore each week. The contract is for 3–6 months.
The client is looking to bring in a contractor to ensure the success of this critical initiative, which is part of a broader effort to modernise their corporate banking platform. Success will be measured by the quality of the design deliverables, the effective implementation of the design system, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver key design outputs, including UX, information architecture (IA), visual design, prototyping, and user flows.
- Work with and govern a large Design System, ensuring it is set up, managed, and maintained effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different parts of the business, presenting and rationalising design work.
- Facilitate workshops (preferred but not mandatory).
- Report to relevant project leads and work as part of a team contributing to the broader corporate banking platform revamp.
- Ensure alignment with other workstreams and projects within the programme.
Your Background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design roles.
- Essential skills:
- Strong expertise in Figma.
- Proven experience working with large Design Systems.
- Ability to rationalise and present work to stakeholders across various business units.
- Independent and critical thinker with the ability to work autonomously.
- Preferred skills:
- Workshop facilitation experience.
- Sector background: Banking experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Open to candidates with experience in both consulting and industry roles.

- Duration: Full-time for 3–6 months, with potential for extension.
- Location: Singapore-based candidates only; hybrid working model (3 days onsite per week).
