Our client, Monogram Consulting, is looking for a Junior Solutions Architect to join their team on an initial 12-month contract (with the possibility of going permanent). If successful, you will be contracted to Monogram Consulting and based full-time at their end client’s offices in Johannesburg – a major player in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure
• Work with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Help evaluate and select cloud technologies suited to different business use cases
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance within cloud environments
• Maintain documentation for architectural designs, system configurations, and processes
• Assist in optimizing cloud resource usage and costs
• Stay current with trends in cloud computing, AWS, Azure, and emerging technologies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure, or architecture-related roles
• A relevant IT qualification (degree or diploma) is essential
• Prior consulting experience is advantageous
• Strong foundation in AWS and Azure platforms
• A keen interest in solution architecture and scalable systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work full-time on-site in JHB
