Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting banking industry body to drive capability building initiatives across multiple banks in the country. This engagement focuses on enhancing institutional capabilities across critical banking themes such as credit, risk, non-financial risk (NFR), technology, digital, and lending.

As part of this broader sector-wide transformation initiative, the consulting team will support banks in benchmarking their existing capabilities, identifying gaps, and implementing solutions to strengthen their institutional frameworks. Consultants on this project will play a pivotal role in enabling tangible capability uplift across the banking ecosystem, shaping practices that will directly impact sector resilience and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute project workstreams in collaboration with client teams, banks, and allied stakeholders.
• Benchmark capabilities across banks, identify areas for improvement, and support capability enhancement initiatives.
• Engage with bank teams daily through expert sessions, workshops, webinars, and in-person meetings to drive transformation agendas.
• Lead and facilitate review sessions with senior stakeholders, including government representatives and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines and manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
• Coordinate with large internal and client teams to ensure seamless delivery of project objectives.

Your Background

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in banking across functions such as credit, risk, digital, lending, or technology.
• Prior consulting experience with top-tier consulting firms is highly preferred.
• Strong soft skills and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet or Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Comfortable working long hours in fast-paced, sprint-based project environments.
• Educational background from a Tier 1 institute is preferred.

This is a 12-month contractual opportunity in Delhi with a strong potential for extension based on project outcomes.
