Project Overview

Our client a Global Payments Firm is carrying out a project for a leadig bank in Riyadh, KSA. To support with this, they are looking to onboard an individual in the capacity of a Merchant Acquiring Portfolio Monitoring Officer to join their team.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Monitor MA portfolio in line with the governance framework setup at the Bank level
  • Keep a close watch on MA customers and identify early warning signals to safeguard business from potential losses
  • Identify and highlight the same on multiple forums, for tracking:
  • Internal Head DPP & Unit Head Product
  • SAM & Operations
  • Credit Lending Team & Coverage RMs 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Estimate potential losses from the client based on the nature of the dispute / exposure of the Bank as per scheme rules 
  • Co-ordination across cross functional units to resolve potential loss cases and track the recovery
  • Provisioning management, budgeting and reporting in CIB RAS full year and MoM 
  • Presentation to highlight Fraud / Non-Fraud unauthorized cases at CIB MANCOM level
  • Ensure the governance framework is timely updated to account for any improvements and changes to the recovery / provisioning process 
  • Following up and supporting in litigation efforts to recover the funds

Skills Required:


  • Master’s degree in economics or Statistics 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in analytics/Product management
  • Experience with Payments Acceptance Business/Fintechs/Acquiring is preferred 
  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel (mandatory) 
  • Well versed with Python, SQL/SAS, Tableau, Denodo/Teradata 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional time-management skills  

This is a a 12 months contractual role based in Riyadh, KSA.
