Our client, a tier 1 management consulting firm is working with a pharmaceutical company specialising in immune-disorder therapies build a case for change in immunodeficiency care in Indonesia. The project scope includes:
- Assessing unmet needs and care gaps (e.g., disease awareness, HCP competencies, affordability)
- Developing solutions to bridge these gaps in care delivery
- Collaborating with government bodies (e.g. MoH, BPJS) and professional associations to support improved care quality
- Building a roadmap and pilot plan to drive change in immunodeficiency care
Key Responsibilities
- Assess market access needs to create compelling payer value propositions
- Develop and implement innovative patient access support programs to improve treatment outcomes
- Track progress and success of market access projects on the ground
- Engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders:
- HCPs, KOLs, physician associations
- Ministry of Health, District Health Authority (Dinkes), BPJS Kesehatan
- Health Economics organisations and NGOs
- Support strategic planning for nationwide rollout of care improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must Have:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in market access roles within pharma, medical devices, or pharma distribution companies
- Proven track record in developing and implementing market and patient access strategies for specialty care treatments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Reimbursement processes and regulatory environment in Indonesia
- Healthcare systems, treatment guidelines, and commercial principles
- Ability to translate healthcare policy insights into actionable market access strategies
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Based in Jakarta, Indonesia
Nice to Have:
- Prior consulting experience or project management exposure
- Experience in immunodeficiency, specialty care, or rare disease areas
Competency Requirements
- Deep understanding of how reimbursement decisions are made and policies are formed
- Expertise in government affairs and driving patient access strategies
- Strong external stakeholder influence and trusted partner status within the healthcare ecosystem
- Skilled in building coalitions with government agencies, professional associations, and international health organisations
