A leading international education group is seeking a Construction and Renovation Project Manager to support their regional operations team on a contract basis. The role is focused on overseeing multiple school renovation projects currently in progress across Malaysia.

Scope & Key Objectives:

• Duration: 3 months
• Start Date: Early July
• Full-time engagement
• Working Model: Hybrid — based at the office in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur (close to TRX and Conlay MRT), with regular site visits to various school campuses as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project timelines, track progress, and escalate delays or risks
• Review contracts and ensure alignment with project scope and accuracy of Bill of Quantities (BQ)
• Manage change requests and Variation Orders (VOs)
• Coordinate contractor meetings, stakeholder discussions, and site visits
• Maintain project documentation including trackers and logs
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding standards on all project sites

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven project management experience in facilities, construction, or capital expenditure projects
• Detail-oriented with experience in contract review, BQ, and variation management
• Strong stakeholder management and time prioritisation skills
• Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines
