Our client, a global consulting firm is supporting a US-based bank in establishing its Global Capability Center (GCC) in India under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. The project is currently in the Build Phase, with foundational design work in place and active coordination across multiple workstreams to ensure seamless execution.
As part of this transformation, the consulting firm is looking to onboard a PMO Consultant who will be co-located with the team in Gurgaon. The consultant will play a pivotal role in driving project management operations, integrated planning, and governance processes, ensuring alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and enabling timely delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead integrated project planning across multiple workstreams, creating a unified delivery roadmap.
- Identify interdependencies, risks, and bottlenecks across teams and proactively drive resolution strategies.
- Set up and manage governance routines, including the creation of clear and actionable dashboards and reports for leadership.
- Maintain and improve PMO tools, templates, and operational best practices to ensure consistency in execution.
- Monitor progress and facilitate structured escalation and resolution of critical project issues.
- Provide limited support on remaining design elements, in coordination with the broader PMO.
Your background:
- 3–7 years of experience in project management, PMO operations, or delivery roles within tech, finance, or consulting environments.
- Strong skills in cross-functional coordination, governance, and risk management.
- Experience supporting PMOs in large-scale transformations, ideally in BFSI or tech sector settings.
- Familiarity with program tracking tools and structured reporting formats.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- No specific educational background is mandatory, though a structured approach and business acumen are essential.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. The initial contract is for 12 months, with potential for extension.
