Our client is looking for a Junior Compliance & Governance Officer to support their Legal, Risk, and Governance functions. The ideal candidate will have completed their legal articles and demonstrate strong experience in policy drafting and policy management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, drafting, review, and maintenance of company policies and procedures.
- Ensure policy documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal governance and compliance initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of regulatory changes across the business.
- Maintain accurate records of policy approvals, revisions, and distribution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure policy awareness and adherence.
- Conduct basic legal research and support the broader compliance/legal team as needed.
Requirements:
- Completed legal articles (essential).
- 1–2 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or governance-related role.
- Proven experience in policy drafting and policy management.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
