A leading media and entertainment company in Japan is seeking support to evaluate and optimize its organizational design and structure. The objective is to benchmark against global and local industry best practices and make informed recommendations on team structure, functions, and capabilities. The project will involve internal assessments and external benchmarking, including in-person interviews with staff.

Role Requirements:

We are assembling a 3-person team comprising:

Project Lead (1x)

• 7–10+ years of experience in organizational design, operating model development, or corporate restructuring
• Prior experience in management consulting (e.g., Bain, BCG, McKinsey, or boutique firms)
• Industry exposure in media, entertainment, or creative sectors
• Fluent in Japanese and English (business proficiency)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills

Consultants / Working Team Members (2x)

• 2–5 years of experience in consulting or corporate strategy
• Exposure to org design, benchmarking, or transformation projects preferred
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative
• Fluent in Japanese and English (business proficiency)

Ideal Profile:

• Tokyo-based professionals (must be located in or able to travel to Tokyo as needed)
• Native Japanese speaker with strong English proficiency
• Experience working on Japan-based or global org design projects within creative or media sectors
