Project Overview

A global consulting firm is seeking an experienced Consultant to support a financial services due diligence project in the wealth management sector. This engagement will form part of the early diligence phase of a sale process and involves gathering key qualitative insights through structured stakeholder engagement.

The consultant will lead a targeted series of interviews with senior executives, with the objective of extracting and synthesising actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. The project is expected to run for 4-5 weeks, ideally on a full-time basis, with flexibility for a reduced schedule if required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 1:1 stakeholder interviews with senior executives and subject matter experts.
  • Summarise interview findings into structured outputs that can inform the overall DD process.
  • Support the design of interview guides and engagement approach tailored to senior stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborate with the lead consulting team to ensure consistency in insights gathered across interviewees.
  • Operate independently while escalating risks or barriers to access when needed.

Your Background

  • 2-4 years’ experience in consulting.
  • Prior exposure to interview-based research, due diligence, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly wealth or investment sectors.
  • Clear and structured thinking with the ability to synthesise qualitative input into actionable insights.
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of working with minimal oversight.
