Project Overview

Our client is a leading global consulting firm supporting a variety of cross-border transactions for major private equity firms and corporates. As part of their growing M&A advisory practice, they are seeking a seasoned consultant to drive IT due diligence and post-deal integration initiatives within large, complex transactions.

This opportunity sits at the heart of the client’s broader M&A support offering, providing strategic IT advisory across the deal lifecycle. The consultant will play a key role in helping clients evaluate technology risks and opportunities during the pre-deal phase and guide seamless post-deal execution. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility and influence on key decisions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT due diligence efforts (pre-deal), including red flag analysis and reporting across applications, infrastructure, operating model, and TSA costing.
  • Support post-deal integration, carve-outs, and IT execution across business functions, ensuring alignment with overall deal strategy.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, internal directors, and delivery teams to manage engagement scope, timelines, and resourcing.
  • Translate complex diligence findings into actionable insights; build compelling narratives to influence C-level decision-makers.
  • Oversee delivery excellence by managing workstreams, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and incorporating feedback from senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to client relationship development and practice growth through high-quality delivery, thought leadership, and business development initiatives.

Your Background

  • 7–10 years of experience in IT consulting, management consulting, or professional services, with a strong track record in M&A advisory.
  • Proven experience in pre-deal IT due diligence and/or post-deal integration and carve-outs.
  • Strong understanding of IT project lifecycles, IT operating models, and technology risk assessments.
  • MBA/PGDM with a B.Tech or equivalent from a top-tier institution; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications strategy, and digital transformation is preferred.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders; excellent communication and presentation skills; leadership experience in diverse, cross-functional teams.
