Project Overview

Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking for two Strategy and Transformation Consultant for their team to support clients — i.e., multiple banking and financial institutions in the region. One with excellent core cards portfolio experience at UAE or KSA banks and the second within operating model process assessment & redesign for cards.


About the Role

  • Conceptualize, rationalize, and drive execution to deliver program work across one program or a group of programs
  • Management and execution against delivery plans and commitments
  • Organizes and accelerates a group of related projects or activities across multiple teams, aligning dependent organizations
  • Recognizes complexity and creates predictable delivery paths for large and/or complex efforts
  • Measurably improves, streamlines, and/or eliminates excess processes
  • Works with multiple delivery teams to build/improve ways of working and identify and mitigate risks or issues that may impact the plan
  • Conducts meaningful retrospectives; processes and recommends actions for the team to take, along with communicating pain points outside the team’s control to leadership
  • Clearly articulate scope, timelines, dependencies, owners, and actions; report progress to teams and senior leadership in regular cadence
  • Looked to as first point of contact for your team or area and the source of truth for status, providing the correct information and associated data about the state of the project to the right audience at the right time
  • Understands the business strategy and approaches within the program to be credible and influential with teams you work with
  • Work across organizations for ways to align teams, technologies, and organizations to simple, coherent approaches that optimize organizational structures and operating mechanisms for the long term
  • Actively contribute to the PM community, sharing program management knowledge/best practices within your program and more broadly throughout the organization


Knowledge & Experience

  • Good understanding of cards payment eco-system
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy
  • Coordination and organization skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors across locations to ensure success of the project
  • Capability to effectively solve challenges, communicate across teams, scope programs, and identify risks
  • Proven track record of data-driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
  • Experience with Tableau, Domo, or other comparable business intelligence tools a plus
  • Experience operating in an agile delivery model, including but not limited to sprints, releases, managing dependencies, roadmaps, and backlog prioritization
  • Fluent in English & Arabic
  • Eligible for the KSA Iqama


This is a 12-month (extendable) contractual engagement in Riyadh, KSA.
