Our client, a global leader in the payments industry, is seeking a Director for its Marketing Services team in Indonesia. This is a permanent hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office, with expectation of domestic and regional travel (up to 20–25%) based on business needs.
This role sits within the client’s consulting and marketing services function and is positioned at a senior individual contributor level. The focus is on delivering both strategic marketing advisory and executional support to clients across the banking, payments, and fintech sectors. The individual will play a key role in developing impactful marketing programs that help financial institutions enhance customer engagement, improve digital experiences, and grow adoption of digital payment products.
What you will be doing
- Lead marketing advisory engagements related to e-wallets, credit cards, and digital payments
- Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns for financial services clients
- Operate as a senior individual contributor, reporting to the Head of Marketing Consulting in Indonesia
- Engage with senior client stakeholders, including SVPs and C-level decision-makers, providing strategic counsel and delivery oversight
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product, business development, and platform teams to develop client solutions
- Contribute insights from client work into internal frameworks and support capability development within the consulting team
- Participate in internal alignment meetings with other senior consultants and regional leaders
Your background
- Minimum 15 years of marketing experience, experience in either banking, payments, or fintech space is a must
- Deep expertise in performance marketing, including planning, execution, and analysis of high-impact campaigns
- Strong understanding of marketing in regulated financial environments (e.g., banks, e-payment platforms, fintech)
- Demonstrated experience engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite and SVP-level executives
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, platforms, and data-led approaches is advantageous
