Our client, a consultancy firm is supporting a leading insurance company on a critical healthy lifestyle product initiative, is looking for a Product Owner to support execution and agile delivery across several workstreams. This is a contract role where the individual will be seconded to the insurance client.
This is a 12-month, remote engagement focused on delivery. The Product Owner will help ensure cadence and structure across remote squads, and manage detailed backlog grooming, user story creation, and hand-offs between functions. The team works across India, Malaysia, and Singapore, with stakeholders and teams also in South Africa.
What you will be doing
• Managing and prioritizing backlogs aligned with product goals
• Collaborating with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Engineering teams
• Maintaining Agile delivery cadences (stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives, etc.)
• Writing clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
• Supporting squads in executing against the roadmap
• Using tools like Jira and Figma for collaboration and documentation
• Supporting experimentation processes such as A/B testing or rapid user validation
• Reporting into the Product Manager
Your background
• 2–5 years’ experience in product ownership or equivalent delivery roles
• Experience working in Agile squads, especially in remote or hybrid models
• Hands-on use of tools such as Jira and Figma
• Demonstrated familiarity with A/B testing, usability testing or validation methods
• Product Owner or Scrum certifications are preferred but not mandatory
• Solid written communication and process discipline, especially in asynchronous environments
• No specific industry background required
