Our client, Rand Mutual, is looking for a management accountant to assist the Head of Finance for 6 months.

This is a Gauteng-based, hybrid role.

The primary responsiblities / deliverables in this role will be to support the Head of Finance with:

• Overseeing the financial reporting and operational finance aspects of the business
• Internal and external reporting
• Production of business insights / Financial analysis
• Budgeting and business planning
• Delivering on Finance change initiatives

Key skills and background include:

• CA (SA) qualification
• 3-5 years' post-qualification experience
• Experience working in a regulated Financial Services company
• Life insurance experience is highly preferred
• A proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• IFRS 17 knowledge and experience
• A strong communicator, used to working with senior stakeholders
