Our client, a global consulting firm, is leading a large-scale administrative reform project with a progressive state government in India. This initiative is part of a broader effort to modernise governance by overhauling key systems across human resources, technology infrastructure, and public policy. The objective is to build more efficient, citizen-centric public institutions and improve long-term service delivery.
To support this critical transformation, the consulting team is seeking retired senior administrative officials to act as subject matter experts (SMEs), providing guidance specifically on the human resources dimension—including organizational structure design, policy frameworks, and public sector HR systems. These experts will play an essential role in shaping recommendations that are contextually relevant and rooted in practical, on-ground governance experience.
The engagement is expected to start immediately and will continue for a duration of 6 months. This is a remote advisory role, with a time commitment of 2–3 hours per week. Experts will be engaged on a flexible, hourly basis, and compensated accordingly. States of focus include Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
