Project Overview

Our client is seeking a Web Developer to support a high-priority digital project focused on improving web presence and user engagement. This is an initial 3-month contract (with potential to extend) based in Sydney with a hybrid working arrangement.

 

The consultant will work across UX design, front-end development, and backend integration, collaborating with internal teams including Brand, Design, and Technology. The role will support the delivery of responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimised web experiences, with a strong emphasis on user interface development and content management using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design and develop user-friendly, mobile-responsive websites aligned with brand and user experience goals.
  • Implement UX journeys, wireframes, and high-quality front-end and back-end code.
  • Integrate with backend systems and ensure secure and scalable performance.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and optimisation to ensure quality and compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Brand, Design, and Technical teams to align design and functionality.
  • Ensure SEO and SEM optimisation across all web assets.

 

 

Your Background

 

Essential:

  • 3+ years of web development experience in both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop mobile-friendly websites.
  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Skills in UX design and performance optimisation.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing user journeys and wireframes.

 

Desirable:

  • Background in banking, fintech, payments, or tech industries.
  • Experience working in hybrid teams across design, marketing, and technology functions.
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM practices.
