Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a major pharmaceutical client in India on a critical growth and transformation initiative. The engagement focuses on driving strategic interventions across go-to-market planning, product launches, and PMO execution to accelerate market impact.
The firm is seeking an experienced consultant to play a hands-on role in shaping and executing business strategies for the client. You will directly influence key decisions across product launch planning, market entry strategies, and implementation tracking—contributing to the client’s next phase of growth in the Indian pharma landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches in the Indian pharmaceutical market.
- Support development of commercial growth strategies tailored to Indian regulatory and market dynamics.
- Drive and manage workstreams within a centralized PMO, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with client’s commercial, marketing, and product teams to co-create actionable plans.
- Monitor performance metrics and suggest course-corrections based on on-ground insights and data.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders across client and consulting firm teams to ensure seamless execution.
Your Background
- 3–5 years of consulting or strategic execution experience, with a strong focus on the Indian pharmaceutical sector.
- Proven experience in leading or supporting GTM planning, product launches, and/or PMO for pharma clients.
- Familiarity with Indian market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and growth levers within the pharma space.
- Strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and ability to work in fast-paced consulting environments.
The engagement is based in Mumbai, and the consultant is expected to work on-site in Mumbai for the entire duration of the project. The initial contract duration is 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension up to 18 months based on performance and project continuity.
