Our client, a global consulting firm is carrying out a project with a leading bank in Egypt. To support with this, they are looking to onboard an individual to join their team in the capacity of a Data Analytics Consultant.

This individual will be responsible for managing profitability models by working with Cards Business, Finance, and Accounting to build the monthly P&L. The role also involves collaborating with DWH and Data Science teams to automate reporting using data visualization tools like Tableau, ensuring full automation within 12 months.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Manage Profitability Models – Gather inputs from Cards Business, Finance, and Accounting to build the monthly P&L.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders – Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial modeling and reporting. 
• Support Automation Efforts – Coordinate with DWH and Data Science teams to enhance profitability models using data visualization tools like Tableau. 
• Ensure Data Accuracy – Validate inputs and outputs to maintain consistency and reliability in financial reporting. 
• Educate & Transition – Train and hand over the process to the Cards team for long-term maintenance and sustainability.

• Timeliness of P&L Preparation

• Automation Implementation Rate 

Knowledge and Experience:

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, P&L management, and profitability analysis; familiarity with Cards Business is a plus. 
• Experience working with Finance, Accounting, Cards Business, and Data teams.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and basic data handling.  
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive tasks with autonomy.
• Experience in process automation and training teams for long-term maintenance.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Arabic language
• Basic understanding of profitability concepts, financial modeling, and P&L management.
• Knowledge of Cards Business operations and key financial drivers.
• Familiarity with data automation processes and data visualization tools like Tableau. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

This is a contractual role of 12 months. This project is based in Cairo, Egypt.
