Our client is looking for a highly motivated Junior Solutions Architect to join their team on a consultant basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, and a keen interest in designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. As this is a client-facing role, the candidate must be articulate and able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional to grow within a collaborative environment while contributing to key projects.

This is an initial 12-month contract with the option of extending indefinitely. The role will require you to be at the head office in Parktown, JHB on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with senior architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of appropriate cloud technologies and services for different use cases.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards are implemented across cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation for architecture designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Assist in optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AWS, Azure, and cloud computing.
