A global luxury automotive brand, based in Australia, is seeking a Project Manager to support its Marketing & Digital team within the Sales & Distribution division. This role will focus on coordinating and managing a range of projects including brand activations, digital experiences, dealer-focused initiatives, and marketing operations, ensuring seamless execution across campaigns and projects.
The role requires a junior to mid-level generalist PM ideally with experience in marketing, digital, and/or events. The ideal talent will be comfortable working in a hybrid agile/waterfall environment, adapting methodologies to get effective outcomes for the team. Whilst the team is based in Australia, they are ideally looking for someone based overseas with the ability to work independently and remotely, collaborating across time zones.
Key Activities:
- Oversee and coordinate operational, marketing and digital projects within the sales and distribution function.
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communications, and delivery milestones.
- Support initiatives from planning to execution.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, agencies, and vendors to drive project success.
- Ensure marketing and digital initiatives align with business goals and brand strategy.
- Facilitate project management best practices, balancing flexibility with structure.
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates to onshore leadership.
Your Background:
Essential:
- 2–6 years of project management experience, ideally in marketing, digital, or brand activation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with a mix of agile/waterfall methodologies.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with overseas teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in consumer, retail, automotive, and/or luxury brands is a plus.
- Familiarity with event marketing, dealer engagement, and digital campaigns.
- Exposure to working with distribution networks or dealership marketing.
