Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support transaction account utilisation within the Everyday Banking Portfolio. This 12-month contract role, based at the client’s Barangaroo office, will focus on Below the Line (BTL) marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on CRM strategy and execution. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and data teams to develop, execute, and optimise targeted 1:1 communications.
This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level to senior marketing professional with experience in CRM marketing, campaign execution, stakeholder management, and data-driven marketing initiatives.
Key Activities
- CRM Campaign Execution: Develop and execute 1:1 marketing campaigns (EDM, DM, SEM) to drive customer engagement and transaction account utilisation.
- Audience Data Briefs & Targeting: Work with data teams to develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies for marketing campaigns.
- Stakeholder & Agency Management: Collaborate with creative agencies to develop campaign assets and ensure successful execution.
- Marketing Brief Development: Construct detailed campaign briefs and define success criteria for marketing initiatives.
- Regulatory & Compliance Coordination: Work with compliance, product, finance, and marketing teams to ensure campaigns meet regulatory and brand standards.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyse campaign performance, interpret data, and use insights to optimise future marketing efforts.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and delivery within timelines.
Your Background
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in CRM marketing, with a passion for 1:1 communications.
- Experience developing audience data briefs and working with data teams to refine targeting strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience working with creative agencies and reviewing marketing collateral.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across product, compliance, and marketing teams.
- Experience using Salesforce and/or Adobe for reporting and campaign insights (though not hands-on execution).
- Excellent analytical skills to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies.
Desirable:
- Financial services experience (preferred but not essential - candidates from other industries with fresh perspectives are encouraged).
- Agency experience (highly regarded).
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of credit cards, loyalty programs, and consumer finance.
