Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking Enterprise Cost Transformation Consultant to support an automotive cost reduction and sourcing project. The ideal candidates must have engineering backgrounds and relevant experience in cost optimization, sourcing strategies, and enterprise cost transformation in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost reduction initiatives across procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management in the automotive industry.
• Analyze product design, raw material costs, and manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with suppliers, procurement teams, and engineering departments to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct benchmarking studies to compare cost structures with industry standards.
• Develop and implement enterprise cost transformation strategies tailored to automotive manufacturing and supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization without compromising quality and performance.
• Utilize data analytics, value engineering, and lean methodologies to optimize cost structures.
• Report progress and insights to senior stakeholders and business leaders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• 3–6 years of experience (flexibility of +/-1–2 years can be considered).
• Strong expertise in cost reduction, sourcing, and enterprise cost transformation within the automotive sector.
• Experience with value engineering, and cost benchmarking.
• Proficiency in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and procurement strategies.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
