Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Go-to-Market (GTM) Consultant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a major consumer durables client based in Bangalore and contribute to optimizing their market presence and sales strategies. The position is a temporary contract role.
This role requires extensive expertise in traditional trade (FMCG or consumer durables), distributor management, retail expansion, and sales team productivity enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to enhance market reach and distributor effectiveness.
- Manage and optimize distributor relationships to drive business growth.
- Expand retail reach by identifying and onboarding new partners.
- Conduct weekly and monthly sales reviews to track KPIs and sales performance.
- Monitor and improve sales team productivity through performance analysis and targeted interventions.
- Design and implement sales incentive programs to motivate sales teams..
- Conduct market assessments to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning.
- Generate reports and insights for senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the development and execution of branch-level sales strategies.

- Increase in distributor effectiveness and engagement.

Qualifications and Experience
- 6-12 years of experience in GTM strategy, sales operations, and distributor management within traditional trade (FMCG or consumer durables).
- Proven experience in retail reach expansion and sales team management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and monitor sales KPIs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
