Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an experienced cost optimisation procurement professional to join their team as a Procurement Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive cost-saving initiatives and contribute to strategic procurement processes. The position is based in Panaji, Goa, with a 12-month contract.

This role requires extensive expertise in procurement within the consumer appliance industry, strong analytical skills, and a track record of delivering cost optimization projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cost optimization initiatives across procurement functions to achieve measurable savings.
  • Analyze procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunities across key categories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement strategies and optimize supplier relationships.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and develop recommendations to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
  • Develop and execute procurement cost analysis models to track and measure savings.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the procurement process and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate cost optimization insights and results to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards.

  • Achieving targeted cost savings through procurement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the consumer appliance or appliance industry.
  • Proven experience in delivering cost optimization projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and data analysis software.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and procurement best practices.

Mandatory Skills
