Our client is seeking an experienced consulting Manager to lead two work streams focused on ESG carbon accounting tool assessment and climate risk modelling for a leading healthcare provider and hospital network. The Manager will oversee the project structure, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance across both streams. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, technical knowledge, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful project execution.
The ideal talent will come from a top-tier consulting firm and ideally have experience in climate risk, ESG consulting, and/or sustainability strategy, with a strong ability to communicate technical insights into actionable business recommendations.
Key Activities:
- Project Leadership & Oversight: Provide strategic direction, coordination, and quality assurance across both work streams, leading two analysts/consultants and working with a lead partner.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors, hospital representatives, and sustainability teams.
- Work Stream Coordination: Align ESG tool assessments with climate risk modelling efforts to ensure holistic decision-making.
- Benchmarking & Best Practices: Utilise research and industry benchmarks to assess ESG tool capabilities and climate risk methodologies.
- Final Deliverables & Reporting: Lead the development of structured reports and executive-level presentations, ensuring findings are actionable and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Your Background:
- Experience: ex-big four consulting and ideally experience in climate risk consulting, ESG strategy, or financial services risk management.
- Expertise: Understanding of carbon accounting frameworks, climate risk modelling, and sustainability software solutions.
