Opportunity Overview

Our client, a global payments firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Payments Experience to lead and oversee high-impact payment-related projects. This is a 12-month role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Project Manager will play a key role in managing the complete lifecycle of multiple payment initiatives, such as integrating payment gateways, implementing instant payment systems, and overseeing co-badging activities.

This position requires a dynamic professional with strong project management expertise, particularly within payment systems, to ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Project Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of payment-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Define project scope and objectives, aligning with technical feasibility and stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using established verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.


  • Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination:
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration between all stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track project performance to ensure successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to upper management on project status.
  • Perform risk management to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Documentation and Budgeting:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

Your Background

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven working experience in project management.
  • Strong expertise in managing payment system projects is required.
  • Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.

  • Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  • Contract Term: 12 months, with potential for extension.
  • Language Requirement: Fluency in English.
