Opportunity Overview

Our client, a global consulting firm is seeking a skilled Loyalty Manager for a 12-month engagement based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The selected candidate will work closely with the AVP, Loyalty & Partnerships, to manage and optimize a major bank's loyalty programs, focusing on campaign configuration, financial impact monitoring, and card-specific engagement strategies. This role supports the bank's larger initiatives to enhance customer loyalty, optimize costs, and drive engagement through carefully managed rewards and experiences, with success assessed by meeting campaign goals, optimizing loyalty costs, and improving ROI.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Campaign Configuration & Testing: Set up and implement product-specific parameters within the loyalty system, conducting end-to-end testing and developing test cases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Financial Monitoring: Track the financial performance of loyalty propositions, comparing results against targets to ensure programs deliver on expected ROI and alignment with business metrics.
  • Cost Optimization: Evaluate loyalty costs monthly, identify areas for cost-saving, and assess ROI by analyzing growth in spending and acquisition rates.
  • Card Engagement: Develop engagement strategies tailored to each card type (core, co-brand, Visa, MasterCard) to maximize participation in targeted spending categories.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Improve the customer experience by reviewing and updating the loyalty program UI/UX, implementing gamification and tailored redemption options to drive app usage and loyalty engagement.
  • Documentation & Audit: To ensure program effectiveness and compliance, maintain comprehensive documentation for system changes, test results, and post-launch audits.


Your Background

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the banking/financial sector, with solid knowledge of loyalty program management tools (e.g., Collinson XLS) and familiarity with the cards business.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong financial acumen to forecast budgets and evaluate loyalty ROI effectively.
  • Technical skills in loyalty system setup, CRM, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with product owners, digital, and marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards in banking, particularly related to loyalty program documentation and auditing.
  • Nice to Have: Experience in managing gamification or interactive components for app-based customer engagement.

The role requires a professional with both technical and strategic expertise to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. While the position is initially set for 12 months, there is potential for extension based on project success and the ongoing needs in loyalty management.
