Our client, a prominent leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking a eCommerce Key Account Manager for a 6-month assignment, focused on managing and growing digital business relationships in Indonesia.
The role will involve working closely with distributors, e-commerce enablers, and key e-retailers. The primary objective is to enhance digital sales performance by leveraging partnerships and aligning marketing strategies with key stakeholders.
This role supports the company's digital transformation efforts in Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Head of Digital Commerce SEA, this is an individual contributor position, with collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance.
What you will be doing
- Own and manage relationships with distributors, e-commerce enablers, and key e-retailers in Indonesia.
- Develop and align business plans with internal teams, ensuring both sales objectives and investment strategies are met.
- Negotiate and finalize Joint Business Plans (JBP) with e-retailers, including annual and quarterly reviews, defining sell-in volumes, incentives, and commitments.
- Align on marketing strategies and execution plans with retailers, finalizing commercial agreements for marketing events and asset participation criteria.
- Conduct digital commerce performance reviews with distributors, e-retailers, and e-commerce enablers to identify opportunities, address performance gaps, and optimize business results.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for e-retailers for customer support inquiries, and escalate issues as needed to internal teams.
- Sign off on sales forecasts for monthly production in collaboration with customers.
- Create and implement a CRM framework, driving continuous optimization on a project-by-project basis.
Your background
- 6-8 years of experience in key account management, particularly in the FMCG and e-commerce/retail platform sectors.
- 2-3 years of experience in CRM operations.
- Expertise in managing B2B2C e-commerce operations.
- Prior experience with both principle and platform roles in FMCG and e-commerce is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and the local language (Bahasa Indonesia) is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and relationship management.
