Our client, a global management consulting firm, is working with a major property developer managing retail malls, hotels, and office buildings across Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland.
They are seeking an independent expert to provide feasibility input on cross-border loyalty program, largely focusing on data sharing across geographies of Hong Kong and China. The focus of the project is to assess data sharing and loyalty integration opportunities across their retail, office, residential, and hotel components in these regions.
The program's objective is to evaluate value creation from three potential areas:
- Mixed-use integration within a single location, linking the loyalty program across different business units (retail, residential, hotels).
- Integration across locations, involving 10 retail malls operated by the client across Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland.
- Integration across businesses and geographies, identifying loyalty potential between different types of businesses and determining how value can be shared.
The consultant will help the client assess the potential for a unified loyalty program by examining cross-border data sharing and identifying the value proposition for each component. Compliance with Chinese CRM systems and PIPL (Personal Information Protection Law) is a critical part of this analysis.
The role will primarily be remote, but may involve in-person collaboration if the independent is based in Hong Kong.
