Opportunity overview

Our client, in air cargo and aviation food solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Consultant to manage and optimize their payroll processes and systems. This role is based in Singapore. The client aims to enhance the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of their payroll operations. This position involves supporting the company's payroll operations and ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA. Success will be measured by the accuracy and compliance of payroll processes, timely resolution of payroll issues, and the implementation of process improvements.


What you will be doing

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll calculations, deductions, tax filings, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Configure and maintain the Employee Central Payroll module within SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Collaborate with the SAP S/4HANA team for seamless integration and data exchange.
  • Ensure payroll practices adhere to local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Support payroll audits and compliance reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in payroll operations.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to HR and payroll administrators on system functionalities, processes, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of payroll procedures, policies, and system configurations.
  • Generate payroll reports and analytics as required.
  • Provide comprehensive application maintenance and support in the SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem.
  • Oversee batch jobs and integrations between SuccessFactors and various systems.


Your background

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration and management, preferably in a large organization with complex payroll requirements.
  • Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll configuration and administration.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore’s payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Learning Management, Succession & Development, Compensation, Performance Management, and Goals Management.
  • Proficiency in managing integrations with external systems using APIs and CSV files. Experience with CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) is mandatory.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Proven track record of implementing system enhancements and delivering training programs in a corporate environment.
