Project Overview

Our client is the consulting arm of a global media company who are looking to onboard a strategy consultant who speaks Korean to support their project teams on the project below.


This opportunity involves delivering a Digital Revenue Lab in Korea, aimed at helping publishers understand and test new reader revenue models. The role requires an individual with consulting or transformation experience who can effectively communicate in both English and Korean. The program has been previously delivered in English and Japanese, providing a foundation that needs to be localized for the Korean market.


The project is part of a larger initiative to support publishers in exploring and implementing innovative revenue strategies. Success will be assessed based on the ability to provide actionable insights and practical guidance that enable publishers to develop and test new revenue models effectively.


What you will be doing

  • Key deliverables: Provide insights, conduct consultancy sessions, and support publishers in testing new reader revenue models.
  • Team involvement: Will work independently but may collaborate with other consultants and stakeholders as needed.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the project lead or program manager.
  • Project integration: The project is standalone but may influence broader strategic initiatives within the client organization.


Your background

  • Seniority/years of experience: 3-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Essential skills:
  • Consulting and transformation experience
  • Proficiency in English and Korean (business level)
  • Experience in delivering consultancy and insights to clients
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to localize content for different cultural contexts
  • Preferred/optional skills:
  • Experience working with publishers or media companies
  • Familiarity with the local business environment in Korea
  • Sector backgrounds: Consulting or industry experience is acceptable; no specific sector preference.
  • Project experience: Experience in strategic planning or business transformation is highly beneficial.

  • Working model: Hybrid, with a remote component and possible in-person sessions as needed.
  • Project duration: Approximately 3 months (26 August to 29 November).
  • Time commitment: Full-time role.
