Project Overview

Our client, a national insurance company in the UAE, is seeking a skilled Motor/Technical Claims Specialist to join them. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in handling motor and technical claims. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders. 

This is an initial 6-month contract (extendable) and can be done remotely.


  • Manage and oversee motor and technical claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Conduct thorough investigations into the validity of claims, gathering relevant information, and assessing policy coverage
  • Evaluate damages, assess liability, and negotiate settlements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with external parties such as repair shops, legal counsel, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate the claims process
  • Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing regular updates on claim status
  • Maintain accurate records of claims activities, documentation, and correspondence for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Analyse claims data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to motor and technical claims processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, risk management, and finance to ensure seamless claim handling and resolution
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior claims staff as needed


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in motor and technical claims processing within the insurance industry, preferably in the UAE
  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures related to motor and technical claims
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in insurance claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Certification in insurance or claims management (e.g., ACII, AIC, CPCU) is a plus
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
