A leading global payments and consulting firm is seeking a seasoned Commercial Card Sales Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, KSA. This role is crucial for driving the expansion and retention of the end client banks commercial card portfolio, targeting large market segments, SMEs, and B2B opportunities. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in sales and business development within the corporate and SME market.
This is a 12 month contractual role with a high probability of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Assist the client’s sales team in developing and managing a healthy sales pipeline for commercial card products.
- Create and refine sales content, including email templates, script guidelines, and sales pitches.
- Lead sales discussions and effectively pitch the client’s products to end customers.
Customer Onboarding and Support:
- Support the operational onboarding of new customers and ensure smooth transition to active usage.
- Conduct follow-ups with onboarded customers to promote activation and first usage of the cards.
Performance Management and Reporting:
- Review and recommend improvements to the performance management framework.
- Monitor financial performance and propose improvement measures.
- Regularly report results and progress against KPIs to top management through various forums.
Training and Development:
- Develop training manuals and conduct training sessions for the client’s sales force to enhance their capabilities throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide periodic training to customers as needed to ensure effective use of the commercial card products.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Leverage payment firms assets and resources to enhance sales efforts and customer solutions.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the client for proactive solutioning tailored to commercial spends.
Qualifications/Expectations:
- Professional Experience:
- 10-15 years of relevant sales and business development experience in the corporate and SME market.
- Saudi market experience is mandatory
- Experience in issuing commercial cards and managing relationships with corporate clients is required
- Proven track record of success as a salesperson, with a strong ability to generate leads and follow through independently.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong team player with high energy and initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory
- Superior interpersonal and communications skills, capable of fostering strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong execution capabilities and experience managing multiple stakeholder projects.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to innovate in a dynamic environment.
