Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to provide contract-to-hire support within its risk management function. The consultant will provide senior oversight of enterprise risk management activities, ensuring key operational and financial risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored and mitigated.

The successful consultant will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen risk frameworks, provide meaningful risk reporting and support informed business decision-making. The ideal profile will bring significant enterprise risk management experience, strong governance expertise and the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

Key Activities

• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and identify emerging risks.
• Develop, review and maintain risk management policies and frameworks.
• Assess operational and financial risks across the organisation.
• Develop and oversee appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key risk exposures and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Prepare and present risk reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support effective risk governance and reporting processes.
• Provide strategic risk advice to senior leadership.
• Work with business stakeholders to embed effective risk management practices.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation activities and recommend improvements.

• 7+ years' risk management experience.
• Strong enterprise risk management experience.
• Strong knowledge of operational and financial risk.
• Experience developing and maintaining risk frameworks and policies.
• Strong risk assessment and mitigation experience.
• Experience with risk governance and senior-level reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to provide strategic risk advice to senior stakeholders.
